A fire hose reel that meets BS standards provides a consistent and quick water supply to combat a potential Class A fire risk. In buildings with cabinet protection, it is wall mounted. To control water from wet risers to hose, an inline or external valve is provided. A fixed fire hose reel can only rotate in one plane. Swinging fire hose reels can move along the swing arm as well.
